Abstract
A fuel pump has a fuel control member 10 having 'run' and 'stop' positions and an excess fuel member 65. A reversible electric motor 51 drives a rotary member 58 which operates with these two members. The driver can control a steering column switch to "stop" and "run". A heat-sensitive switch on the engine responds to "cold" or "hot". An electric circuit controlling motor 51 causes the engine when cold to start with automatic transient actuation of the excess fuel member when the driver-controlled switch is moved to 'run' and causes the lever 10 to be moved to the 'stop' position, when the switch is moved to 'stop'. <IMAGE>
