Abstract

A conveyor control apparatus is presented wherein a rotary mechanical system of gears and discs driven in synchronism with a conveyor assembly provides control signals for electronic circuitry which activates indicators at a multiplicity of on-loading stations and off-loading stations at times which are a function of conveyor travel, thereby indicating the arrival of any consignment at its correct destination. The timed sequence of signals is provided by means of light emitting diodes associated with sets of apertures in the discs 1 and 2, the signals being produced when the apertures line up with apertures in fixed plates 12, 13 and 14, 15. <IMAGE>
