Abstract

There is provided radioactive carboxylic acid derivatives containing I<125> or I<131> suitable for use in the quantitative determination of thyroxine or its metabolites in a patients blood by radioimmuno assay methods. The preferred derivative has the structure formula <IMAGE> A method for the preparation of the radioactive carboxylic acid derivative is given.
