Abstract

A security case has a protective device such as canister 6 which can emit smoke and dye both inside and outside the case, after a press- button 7 is pressed by a person carrying the case, if it is snatched by a thief. This only happens if button 7 is pressed continuously for one or two seconds, determined by a first time delay circuit 11, so that accidental pressing is ineffective. The emission of smoke and dye is further delayed for about five or ten seconds by a second time delay circuit 12, so that a thief can get a certain distance after the case is snatched from the carrier, and the carrier is not engulfed in smoke and dye. <IMAGE>
