Abstract

In a V-shaped vehicle bumper with a substantially in-section supporting body 1 of fibre-reinforced plastics material, the angle alpha is chosen so that, in the event of the predetermined load being applied at the apex of the V, the bumper can deflect so that its front surface 5 extends substantially in a straight line.
