Abstract

An agricultural disk harrow conventionally has a number of earthworking disks spaced along a shaft (14) by spools (42, 44) and the shaft (14) is supported in self-aligning bearings. To protect the bearings from dirt a resilient seal (58) is mounted on each outer race (50) and extends therefrom to make wiping contact with the corresponding inner race (48) and the bearing support (72). The seal may also contact the neighbouring spool (42 or 44). <IMAGE>
