Abstract
201,868. Macfarlane, D. March 21, 1923. Handles.-A saucepan or like handle is made from a sheet-metal blank shaped at the attachment end as shown in Fig. 1. The blank is folded into tubular form, the meeting edges being spot-welded together, and the attachment flanges b, Fig. 3, welded or riveted to the vessel. The attachment end increases in depth rapidly, as shown at d, Fig. 3.
