Abstract

Substantially anhydrous, non- aerosol antiperspirant compositions comprise a powdered antiperspirant agent (preferably 5 to 30% by weight) suspended in a liquid hydrophobic volatile cyclic silicone vehicle (preferably 60 to 95% by weight) which includes a hydrophobic suspending agent (preferably montmorillonite clay in a proportion of 0.1 to 10% by weight), the composition containing less than 4% of other hydrophobic liquids which are less volatile than the cyclic silicone.
