Abstract

Apparatus for supporting and dispensing the contents of drums or other containers comprises a supporting frame 10, a carrier 14 for the drum or like container 19 pivotally mounted at 15 on the supporting frame 10. When the carrier 14 is tilted manually to different angular positions relative to the supporting frame 10 friction means 13 operate automatically to retain the carrier 14 in any desired tilted position. The friction means preferably includes a friction disc 13 mounted at the pivot 15 and the carrier 14 may incorporate a ramp 24 to facilitate mounting of a container 19 on the carrier 14. <IMAGE>
