Abstract
An electrical connector for connecting a flat cable to a printed circuit board comprises an insulative block 12 carrying contacts 6 and having a slot 11 for receiving the cable by forcing bared conductors of the cable between the contact and a wall 21 of the block. Each contact includes a latching finger 13 for latching the contact in the block and a terminal portion 14 for insertion in a printed circuit board. <IMAGE>
