Abstract

Each of two saw-guide units 3A, 3B which are adjustably clamped to two guide rods 4A, 4B is provided with a workpiece clamp 6 and a pair of posts defining slots for maintaining the saw blade in a predetermined position, relative to the longitudinal axis of the workpiece. The required distance apart of the two units, when forming the sides of a picture frame, is determined by placing the frame glass between reference surfaces 11a of blocks 11 on the units. <IMAGE>
