Abstract

201,756. Tackabury, G. W. July 27, 1922. Tobacco.-Blotting-paper and agar-agar are used in combination to distribute moisture in tobacco-pouches, cigar boxes and other receptacles. As shown in Fig. 5, two or more blotting-paper discs 7, having between them discs 8 or adherirg films of agar-agar, are enclosed in a circular container 11, preferably of nickeloid and closed by a perforated cover-plate 12, the whole being immersed in water before use. The container may be of rectangular shape and provided with a clip for attachment to the underside of a cigar-box lid.
