Abstract

A magnetic tape holder or cassette (1) has a window 3 for observing the winding of the tape on a pair of spindles mounted in holes (2), wherein the window (3) is covered by a transparent screen 4 which has a graduated scale (5) thereon in the form of a series of curvilinear indices (6), the distance between which decreases and whose radii of curvature increase outwardly from one of the spindles. <IMAGE>
