Abstract

An indexable holder has a plurality of cutting inserts preferably for mounting on a roller box tool. The holder 6 has a plurality of recesses 10, 10A for the reception of respective inserts 11, enabling a first insert to be in operative position with the remainder in positions of readiness so that the or each remaining insert may be brought into operative position by indexing the holder. An eccentric pin 7 provides tangential adjustment relative to the workpiece 4, and alignment is assured by engagement of a pin 9 in one of a plurality of elongate slots 8 corresponding to the inserts 11.
