Abstract

The present invention provides a process for detecting flaws which extend to the surface of workpieces, in daylight by applying a thin layer of a coloured liquid comprising a dyestuff, a binder and a solvent, using a solvent of low evaporation number, the application of the coloured liquid being carried out as the sole step of the process.
