Abstract

Pesticidal and plant growth regulating pyridine derivatives have the general formula: <IMAGE> wherein R1 and R2 are hydrogen, or optionally substituted hydrocarbyl, aryloxy or alkoxy, and R2 additionally may be pyridyl, thienyl or furyl; R3 and R4 are H, alkyl or aryl or together form a bridging group; Z is: <IMAGE> where R5 is H, alkyl or aryl; and functional derivatives and salts thereof.
