Abstract

In an electro-mechanical winnings distribution assembly for a slot machine, a release coin 12 controls a solenoid 10 through a pulse from a microswitch 11, whereby armature 11' pivots a lever 2 against the force of a spring 9. The lever 2 has upper and lower pins 4 arranged alternately into the marginal zone of a coin stack 6 according to whether the solenoid is energized or not, such that energization causes a lowest coin to be dispensed and de-energization causes the next higher coin to drop to the position of the previous lowest coin ready for dispensing. <IMAGE>
