Abstract

A pair of shears suitable for use in the right hand or the left hand has two arms (12, 13) pivoted together and each having a double edged blade portion (12a, 13a). At their free ends the two arms have pivoted finger bows (19, 20) located on opposite sides of the respective arms so that the arms can be crossed over and the bows swung through 180 DEG to enable the scissors to be changed from right-handed to left- handed use and vice-versa. <IMAGE>
