Abstract

A domestic auxiliary boiler comprises a water heater 3 heated from a domestic oven 1 and supplying, directly or indirectly, heat to the hot water cylinder of the domestic hot water supply. The water heater is located between a rear or side wall 2 of the oven and thermal insulation 6 of the oven and ensures a supply of hot water whenever the oven is used. Oven performance is not adversely affected, and heat wastage as the oven cools down is reduced. <IMAGE>
