Abstract
A method of preparing a metal-organic framework compound comprises the steps of contacting a solid, particulate, inorganic metal compound with an organic ligand compound in the presence of a liquid which is not a solvent for said inorganic metal compound and then separating a product metal-organic framework from the liquid and drying said product metal- organic framework compound.
