A re-closable container comprising a tray (21, 21') and a lid (23, 23'), wherein the tray (21, 21') comprises at least one stiffening member (9, 9') and the lid (21, 21') comprises a peripheral channel (25, 25') having at least one protrusion (27, 31, 37a, 39) protruding into the channel (25, 25') and configured to hold the rim of the tray (21, 21') within the peripheral channel (25, 25').
