Abstract

A circuit arrangement including an over-current protected transistor. The transistor (1 or 20, 21, 22) is provided with a threshold circuit (3) arranged to sense when a critical value is exceeded by a collector current taken from a collector region of the transistor via a collector connection (2 or 28) and in dependence thereof cut off a base current to the transistor, the threshold circuit having an input (4) provided with a connection (5 or 25) to the collector region (22) of the transistor separate from the first-mentioned collector connection (2 or 28). <IMAGE>
