Abstract

A handheld garbage collector or dustpan comprises a tray 2 bounded by a side 1 leading to a handle 3, wherein at least said tray 2 and side 1 are formed by an elastomer body capable of resilient deformation. The collector preferably includes a core 5 made of synthetic plastics for strengthening purposes. The elastomer body is preferably silicon rubber with the core 5 including a plurality of ribs.
