Abstract
A touch sensing panel for a display screen includes a panel that has electrically isolated conductors (200, 202) that cross each other at intersection points. A touch detector is arranged to detect a users touch by detecting a reduction in energy transferred by capacitive coupling between the conductors at an intersection point. Each of the electrically isolated conductors includes a conducting wire that follows a non-linear path between a pair of intersection points, such as a serpentine path that provides a substantially uniform density of coverage of area between the intersection points. The conducting wires may be individually insulated. The non linear path may include at least one straight section arranged to reduce the appearance of moire patterns.
