Abstract

A door handle structure comprising a main body 10 with an accommodation chamber 11, an engaging tongue 21 operated by a slide mechanism 22, first and second control elements 30, 40 for selectively disengaging respective handles each having a rotation member 31, 41 (figure 3), a fixing hole 311, 411 (figure 3), an engaging notch 312, 412 (figure 3), a rotation ring 32, 42 (figure 3), a driving portion 324, 424, an elastic member 33, 43 (figure 3), a holding post 34, 44 (figure 3) and a limit member 35, 45 (figure 3), a driven member 50 connecting the control units to the slide mechanism and a press member 60 for setting to idle. The driven member may comprise a hook. The slide mechanism, rotation rings and driven member may comprise protruding blocks. The driven member may also comprise a recess. The rotation rings may comprise two mating sections. The structure may additionally comprise locking parts. The assembly allows the user to pre-set which handle can be selectively uncoupled from the engaging tongue and can be installed on either side of a door to allow for left handed operation.
