Abstract

Our innovation is the complete process of extraction, search and fitting of clothing based on an image provided by the user. A user inputs a garment image which is then searched for in a database of such images to provide a series of matches. These matches are then displayed in combination with an image of the user to demonstrate how the garment will look when worn by the user. The image of the garment in question may be automatically extracted from a larger image or a user may select a garment from an image for example by drawing a line around the item of interest in the image.
