Abstract

A household appliance (10) comprises a spindle (17) provided with an annular groove (23) and a tool carrying member (18) adapted to be mounted to the spindle (17) to rotate thereon. The tool carrying member (18) is provided with securing means (20) comprising fingers (21) so disposed as to be circumferentially spaced around the spindle (17) and to extend longitudinally of the spindle (17) when the tool carrying member (18) is mounted thereto. Each finger (21) is provided with a radially inward nose portion (22) disposed to resiliently locate within the groove (23) of the spindle (17). <IMAGE>
