Abstract

A magnetic bubble domain device utilising a chip 2 has the required in- plane rotating magnetic field provided by a rectangular annular magnetic circuit of high permeability magnetic material 1 which has coils 4-7 provided around opposite sides thereof, the sides being co-planar with the chip active surface so that when energized the coils afford a rotating magnetic field also co- planar with the active surface. <IMAGE>
