Abstract

A disposable sanitary toilet bowl cover 20, the cover comprises a shield 21 in which the shield defines a concave shape with respect to the convex front edge of a toilet bowl seat 11. The cover has a rear portion with two adhesive tapes 22 which are capable of repeatedly adhering to the toilet bowl seat. The cover comprises a top layer 201 and a lower waterproof layer 202. The top layer may be a breathable absorbent layer such as formed from pure wood pulp. The lower waterproof layer may be formed from materials such as PVC or polyethylene. The toilet seat cover prevents a users clothing or skin from contacting the toilet bowl.
