Abstract

A connector attached to a saddle tree 10 and a steel shaping plate 20 comprises a cylindrical lock core 30 and a sleeve 40 for receiving the lock core. The lock core comprises a pin or bayonet 31 protruding from its front surface, said pin being received in a pathway or channel within the sleeve; a locking portion 44 for tight locking of the pin is disposed inside the sliding pathway; a flexible element 50 such as a resilient rubber pad or spring is disposed at an inner part of the sleeve. The connector is durable, time-saving and easy to be fixed in position, so that the steel shaping plate of the saddle tree can be replaced quickly. The lock core may comprise a cap shaped end portion 32 with a hexagonal screw hole 33. The sleeve may comprise a wing portion 45 which is attached to the saddle tree by rivets.
