A connector comprises a contact (15) housed in a support block (37) and having an end portion in the form of a laminar member (18) arranged to cut the insulation (30) of an insulated conductor (28) in an axial direction and to penetrate into the inside of the conductor to establish electric contact, when a support member (25) carrying the insulated conductor (28) is forced into said support block (37). <IMAGE>
