Abstract

A hockey stick comprising a handle, a shaft and a head wherein the interior structure of one of them comprises at least three co extensive hollow sections 52. There may be four sections split into 2 pairs. A carbon fibre 54 wrap may be provided around the hollow sections. A damping material 59 may also be disposed between the hollow sections and an elastomer such as a polyurethane or polypropylene foaming material may be used. The device may be made by bending 2 tubes to make 4 coextensive sections.
