Abstract

A barrow 2 is disclosed, said barrow comprising a frame 4 adapted to support a container 18 to be carried. Rolling means 6 may comprise a pair of wheels (8, figure 4) rotatably mounted on an axle (10) which is connected to the frame via a pair of forks (12). Handle means 14 is provided to enable a user to move the barrow on the rolling means. Support means 15 for supporting a load is also provided. The support means is pivotally mounted to the frame and comprises a loop member 16 arranged to engage an outer surface of container. The loop may comprise first and second tubular members (20, 22) between which are connected first and second semi circular lengths of resilient material (30, 32), so that different size containers may be supported. The loop may be locked in position, preventing pivoting when required, and the handles may be telescopically adjusted. A brace 44 may connect first and second arm portions of the frame.
