Abstract

A device responding to the degree of liquid vapour in an enclosure C to control the application of energizing power via socket B to an appliance. such as an exhaust fan (not shown). Response is by voltage value resulting from changing resistance between adjacent conductors on a printed circuit board D exposed to condensation of the vapour. Switching of power to the appliance is controlled by a comparator 8 which compares said voltage value and the value of a reference voltage. <IMAGE>
