Abstract

An exhaust manifold 24 for connection of a two-stage turbocharger 10, comprising a high-pressure turbocharger 106 and a low-pressure turbocharger 105, to an internal combustion engine 40, wherein the exhaust manifold 24 comprises an intermediate flange 12 connected to a single exhaust gas outlet 25, the intermediate flange 12 being configured to divide the exhaust gas flow in a first gas path flowing into the high-pressure turbocharger 106 and in a second gas path flowing into the low-pressure turbocharger 105, by use of a separator wall 26 dividing the flange 12 into a first hole 27 and a second hole 28. The second hole 28 providing a seat for a bypass valve flap (22, fig.3) for bypassing the high-pressure turbocharger 106. Both the high-pressure turbocharger 106 and the low-pressure turbocharger 105 turbine housings may be connected to the separator wall 26.
