Abstract

Immunoassays for the detection of Hepatitis B e-antigen and anti- hepatitis B e-antigen employing labelled reagents and solid supports coated with said ligands are disclosed. A reagent is provided for the determination of an immunologic component selected from the group consisting of HBeAg and anti-HBeAg which comprises a ligand selected from the group consisting of HBeAg, anti-HBeAg and anti HBeAg-HBeAg complex in an insoluble form.
