Abstract

The method of installing windscreens in a body frame of L- shaped cross-section i.e. a support face 18 parallel to the screen and an edge face 20 surrounding it, studs 38 (e.g. weld studs) being provided at intervals around the edge face, involves embedding the peripheral margin of the screen in a groove of a sealing strip 14 and wedging the screen and strip against the support face by plastics clips 30 mounted on the studs. The clips are provided with means to receive and retain a decorative trim strip 40 to bridge the gap between the screen and the frame. <IMAGE>
