Abstract

This invention concerns tubular cellulosic food casings having a coating comprising a water dispersible saturated fatty acid ester or salt over the internal surface thereof and to methods of making such casings. The casings of the present invention exhibit improved peeling characteristics from food products encased and processed therein.
