Abstract

A container <(1)>, of generally T- shaped cross-section incorporates spaced support shoulders <(2)> on opposite sides thereof and a support and transport vehicle for mounting, dismounting and tilting the container <(1)> comprises articulated support arms <(15, 17)> arranged on opposite sides of the vehicle for supportive engagement with corresponding shoulders <(2)> of the container <(1)>, and first and second actuator means <(21, 19)> co-operatively operable on said support arms <(15, 17)> for mounting and dismounting the container <(1)> with respect to the vehicle; said first actuator means <(21)> being independently operable for tilting the container <(1)> with respect to the vehicle in order to facilitate discharge of the contents thereof. <IMAGE>
