Abstract

Agricultural tractors are known, in which the track-width of the driving wheels is made power-adjustable by fixing brackets 12 on the periphery 11 of each wheel disc 10 and releasably clamping the brackets 12 by clamping means 25, 26 to respective helical rails 22 fixed inside each rim 23 and engaging grooves 21 in the brackets 12. Due to the increasing size and power of tractors, and also to eventual wear of the components, it is difficult periphery 11 of each disc 10. It is now proposed to solve the problem more positively by providing at least some of the brackets 12 of each wheel with screws 19, Fig. 1, by means of which the brackets 12 so provided can be adjusted in position radially of the disc 10 before being fixed thereto by bolts passing through slots 18. <IMAGE>
