Abstract

The plane cable rack especially for use in telephone central offices and amplifier rooms comprises a through double-C-profile 1, at least two adjusted double-C-profiles 2 and an insertion grating 3. The double-C-profiles may be arranged in a variety of arrangements. The insertion grating consists of square tubes which may be made of aluminium and is removably disposed with respect to the main grating formed by the double-C-profiles. The upper surfaces of the double-C-profiles of which the main grating consists are disposed flush with the upper surfaces of the insertion grating to form a flat bearing of area for cables to be laid thereon. <IMAGE>
