Abstract

A dual setting control for a vehicle outside rear mirror 3, has two knobs inside the vehicle, one knob 9 being associated with substantially vertical piloting of the mirror and the other knob 7 being associated with substantially horizontal pivoting of the mirror, wherein the knob 7 rotates via gears 21, 23, 25 a first moving support member 27 rigidly secured to the mirror 1 and as knob 9 displaces a drive nut 37 prevented from rotating by a flat-to-flat abutment 41 with the first moving support member 27, the drive nut 37 rotating via a rod 45 a second moving support member 49 rigidly secured to the mirror 1. <IMAGE>
