Abstract

A low content of arsenic in an antimony mercaptocarboxylic acid or ester (in conjunction with an ortho dihydric phenol) improves their joint properties as a stabiliser for vinyl chloride polymers. The stabiliser system optionally may contain an alkaline earth carboxylate.
