Abstract

There is disclosed a feeler foot for a sheet feeder in printing and paper processing machines with drive elements for the realisation of periodic pivotal and vertical motion, the feeler foot comprising a pneumatic displacing unit (6; 7; 8), the displacing part (7) of which is connected with the feeler foot (5), and slides in a housing (6) fixedly mounted on a pivotable feeler foot lever (9). Preferably, a throttle (13) for variation of the pressure and/or a throughflow quantity of the pneumatic drive medium is connected upstream of the pneumatic displacing unit (6; 7; 8). <IMAGE>
