Abstract

A pressed steel pulley for a toothed belt transmission which includes a pulley body having a substantially cylindrical skirt 12 and a pressed steel toothed ring 14 carried on the skirt. The toothed ring is circumferentially continuous and has a hooked-over end portion 22 by means of which it grips on the free edge 12A of the skirt. Shoulder flanges may additionally be incorporated, at one or both sides of the belt-engaging surface. <IMAGE>
