Abstract

Paper and like bags.-In paper and like bags of the comparatively narrow block-bottomed type, two slots D, E are cut out of the parts B, C of the blank A which are to be folded to form the bottom, so that after the first folding operation a continuous and wide overlap of the edges F, G is formed, as shown in Fig. 3. The second folding is then effected in the usual way. The overlapping of the edges F, G may be effected by the device described in Specification 194,995.
