Abstract

A circuit for selectively providing energy at one of a plurality of levels to a strobe lamp 32 includes a charge circuit 26 and a plurality of capacitors Cs1 and Cs2. A switch SW1 and diode D1 are used to connect one or more of the capacitors to the charge circuit and strobe lamp to provide for storage of differing levels of energy and discharge of the stored energy through the strobe lamp. The light output from the strobe lamp is thereby selected without the need for adjustment. <IMAGE>
