Abstract

A pressure calculator comprises means e.g. thumbwheels 4 for entering thereinto the value of the ambient atmospheric pressure. The calculator calculates the atmospheric pressure at at least one remote location from stored information. Both pressure values 6,8 are displayed on the calculator. The calculator is arranged to convert between units of measurement. The calculator has a test button 12, operation of which causes the calculator to perform its calculations on a predetermined input value. One or more display units may be located remote from the calculator and be arranged to display atmospheric pressure values in accordance with the input signal to the calculator. <IMAGE>
