Abstract

A bracket 6 for use in the erection of a fence structure, the bracket comprising a body portion 8 for embracing the post, an axis through the body portion being aligned on the longitudinal axis of the post, and two arms 10, each of which extends from one or the other of the two ends of the body portion. Apertures 12 in each of the arms lie generally in a common transverse axis which lies in a plane extending at right angles to the axis through the body portion, the body portion lying at least predominantly to one side of the plane. In this manner, two similar brackets 6 may be juxtaposed on a post, and moved between different relative angular positions whilst the apertures in the two pairs of arms lie in the same plane so that wires or rails supported thereby will be in the same plane. <IMAGE>
