Abstract

A stencil cutter is disclosed which comprises a support (1) for a lamina (15) and a punch (19) driven by a motor (29) so as to oscillate for piercing the lamina (15). A pantograph (35) which has an attachment for tracing a chosen character (24) is arranged to effect relative motion between the support (1) and the punch (19) for tracing a facsimile of the character (24) to be punched in the lamina (15). The pantograph (35) itself is adaptable in order to adjust the scale of the facsimile <IMAGE>
